Reviews:
Project Z is a wild romp, with a running joke that Dennis Storhøi, a famous Norwegian actor, is going to play a transsexual zombie. When he does show up, it’s a real treat. There’s also some gnarly zombie action, including one of the best uses of the song ‘Swing Low, Sweet Chariot’ that I’ve ever seen in a film.” 1428 Elm

“There are many fun moments here, especially the scenes where the stressed director goes into full Stanley Kubrick mode and wears out the actors with an x-number of takes till they act badly just on purpose to taunt her […] The only thing that does not work as well, is the ending, which seemed a bit anti-climatic. Technically, the film looks really good.” Horror Ghouls

Project Z is rather excellent in portraying the chaos surrounding a movie shoot – and in a very fun way at that, as up until late in the game, this film’s a comedy rather than anything else. A comedy made by a horror-savvy director though who can switch gears into thriller filmmaking pretty much at the drop of the hat.” Search My Trash

“There are several good scenes, and the ending did catch me off guard. But the dull spots really made the film drag, and I wasn’t thrilled with the way much of the last act was shot. Fans of old-school found footage films may enjoy the last act more than I did, just as those more involved in filmmaking, or are Norwegian, may get more out of the scenes I found dull.” ★★ Voices from the Balcony
