The Shimian is a 2022 horror film about a dysfunctional family on a camping trip to a forest to celebrate a birthday. However, their celebrations are cut short when they learn something unearthly is hunting them.
Written and directed by James Peakman based on his 2021 short film of the same name. Produced by Jimu Zhang.
The British Bader Media Entertainment production stars Sophie Simmons, Blake Hutchings, Margot Lin, Ashlea Winfield, Alexander Butler, Fiona Dunn, Jonjo Tweddle, Robin Slater, John Peakman, Sandra Peakman, James Peakman and Andrew Simpson.
