Winter Island is a 2024 horror film about a young girl who is found dead and her teenage brother’s postmortem visions point to an evil presence within their own family.
The movie was directed by Tony Doupe (Redneck Hamlet), making his feature directorial debut, from a screenplay by Clark Coffey and Chris Joseph Taylor based on the latter’s storyline. It was produced by Clark Coffey Arthur Rains-McNally, James Dailey, David Harlos and Chris Taylor.

Plot:
When young Abby (Ashlyn Harlos) goes missing, her once cohesive family begins to diverge. Her brother Galen (Elijah Carnazzo) already sees the bleak writing on the wall. It’s only a matter of days before the gruesome discovery – her shallow grave on a small island a mile from their lake-front property.
Desperate for answers while coming to terms with the trauma, Galen experiences visions of Abby. Against his devout father’s wishes, Galen searches for answers that point right back to the location of her grim death.

Faced with an evil presence within his family tree, Galen must decide whether to emotionally depart from his tragic circumstances, or endure even more suffering in his painful search for the truth held by the mystical island…
