Killer Influence is a 2023 French horror film about an influencer and her friends being stalked at an isolated country house. Formerly titled Don’t Watch!
Written, directed and co-produced by Abel Danan making his film directorial debut. Also produced by Michel Abramowicz, Alfred Attal, Guillaume Delanoue, Thibaud Haim, Thomas Haim, Elie Nakache and Théodore Sellam.
The Don’t Watch Films-Dance Me Films-M.A Productions stars Marilou Aussilloux, Ouidad Elma, Alix Gavoille, Lea Julian, Naël Malassagne and Joy Rieger.
Plot:
During summer, Alex (Joy Rieger), a successful influencer, invites a few friends to her small isolated country house. One evening, after streaming a live video, they are visited by a particularly insistent stalker… The beginning of a dread-filled night they’ll never forget…
Release:
Don’t Watch! premiered at the Festival International du Film Fantastique de Menton in France on October 29, 2023. The movie – re-titled Killer Influence – was released on VOD in the United States by Samuel Goldwyn Films on October 18, 2024.
