Don’t Move is a 2026 creature feature monster movie about campers being stalked by a giant spider. Its central concept—a giant spider that hunts by sensing movement and vibration—echoes the suspense mechanics of films like A Quiet Place, but with a giant arachnid replacing sound-sensitive monsters.
The film was directed by Maclain Nelson from a screenplay co-written by James “Murr” Murray (of Impractical Jokers) and Darren Wearmouth based on a bestselling novel by James S. Murray and Darren Wearmouth.
The Impractical Productions-Redline Entertainment co-stars Lyndsy Fonseca, Russell “Russ” Vitale, Rob Riggle, Tom Cavanagh, Hunter King, Joseph Lee Anderson, with cameo appearances by T-Pain, Brian “Q” Quinn, and Matt Biedel.
Plot:
Deep within an isolated section of the Ozark forest lurks a prehistoric giant arachnid that has survived unnoticed for centuries. The creature spins vast webs throughout the woods and hunts in a unique way—it detects the slightest vibrations, meaning even the smallest movement can reveal a victim’s location.
As the survivors become trapped in the monster’s web-filled territory, they realise their usual instincts to run and hide will only make them easier prey. Remaining perfectly still becomes their greatest weapon, giving the film its title.
With the group dwindling and fear threatening to tear everyone apart, Megan (Lyndsy Fonseca) must keep the remaining survivors united while finding a way through the creature’s deadly hunting grounds. Every footstep, broken twig, or panicked sprint risks attracting the enormous predator, forcing the group into an increasingly tense battle of patience and survival…
