Norton Creek Massacre is a 2026 supernatural horror film set in 1998 deep in the forests outside a sleepy North Carolina town. A loner has spent his whole life dreaming of being a serial killer. His only real friend is Dron, a towering, near silent, monstrous juggernaut. Together they attack locals and a group of immature goth vampires who are staying at a cabin the woods.
Much of this micro-budget production was created using AI so be warned!
The movie was written, produced and directed by Jason Park (Redline Fury; Speed Faster) who also co-stars. The Hypatude production also stars Christopher Deon, Haley Johnson, Maria Mae Lopez and Halyn Gant.
Budget:
$10 according to IMDb
Critical reception:
541 IMDb ‘users’ from Bangladesh, Egypt, India, Pakistan and the USA (currently 84% of votes at the time of writing) have apparently rated the film as 10/10 which is clearly an orchestrated campaign of fake bot ratings.
Meanwhile, MOVIES & MANIA rated Norton Creek Massacre 1/10 on IMDb due to the astonishing massive overuse of AI with oversatured colour which was a very lazy creative decision. That said, at least it’s never completely unwatchable like so many soul-destroying micro-budget horrors due to the baffling plot changes. Plus, the incessant rock, hip hop, goth and synth soundtrack amused us.
