BLACK SABBATH Reviews of Mario Bava’s classic horror anthology

Black Sabbath is a 1963 Italian horror film anthology directed by Mario Bava (Black Sunday; A Bay of Blood; Lisa and the Devil; Shock).

The film comprises three horror stories: “The Wurdulak” (based on the novella The Family of the Vourdalak by Aleksey Konstantinovich Tolstoy, and starring Boris Karloff), “The Drop of Water” and “The Telephone”. The original Italian title was I tre volti della paura “The Three Faces of Fear”.
