Reviews:

“The performances from Lance Henriksen and Matt Doherty are strong enough to keep the film afloat when the story and the effects threaten to sink the entire affair. The film remains tightly tucked inside the established blueprint for this kind of found footage film, it never pushes any boundaries nor reaches for any taboos or new ground.” HorrorNews.net

“The nuance of the ghost-hunting TV show is well-utilised. Night vision cameras can make the most normal of locations look like a place where Ed Gein would fear to tread without an adult holding his hand. Shadowy backgrounds, cleverly used to foreground the impending supernatural encounters, are well-crafted and neatly employed. The acting is credible and the characters are rich…” UK Horror Scene

“Craig Efros’s directorial debut is the mark of a horror master in the making. Hollows Grove is a well done suspenseful horror film, that is both fun and funny.” The Art of Monteque

“All I kept asking myself while watching this film was “why?” The last scene while intended to give a shock only cheapened the story more and took whatever credibility it had with it. Good effects and some expressive cast members ultimately stumble because of an underdeveloped script.” Halloween Forevermore
