‘It’s coming …and it’s deadly!’
Epidemic is a 2018 American body horror film directed by Stephen Michael Giglio from a screenplay co-written with Adam Romanchik.
The Pomerantz Pictures production stars Andrew Hunsicker, Amanda K. Morales, Gina Destra, Mike Sutton, Chloe Carroll, Daniel Byrne, Marquis Valdez, Shelley Brietling, Joe Walz, Gabby Scarantino, and Grant Behmke.
Plot:
A deadly pathogen is unleashed and unknowingly carried to Dana (Amanda K. Morales)’s thirtieth birthday party, where her estranged father, Rufus (Andrew Hunsicker), is coming to make amends.
What begins as a family drama soon escalates to a horrific turning point as the epidemic spreads and Rufus fights to save his daughter’s life…

“The acting is a downside though, it’s not totally awful but is rather awkward with some wildly differing character personality changes. Lead female Dana (Amanda K. Morales) goes from a strong willed character to a pathetic wreck in a matter of minutes. The small cast led to a more intimate feeling story, while the special effects were perfectly fine throughout.
