Hell House LLC III: Lake of Fire is a 2019 American supernatural horror feature film about the re-opening of the abandoned Abaddon Hotel to the public.
Written and directed by Stephen Cognetti (Hell House LLC and Hell House LLC II: The Abaddon Hotel), the Cognetti Films production stars Gabriel Chytry, Elizabeth Vermilyea, Sam Kazzi and Theodore Bouloukos.
Nine years after the tragic events of Hell House, the Abaddon Hotel will once again be open to the public. Billionaire Russell Wynn has taken his audience-interactive show, Insomnia, into the abandoned hotel.
Russell invites journalist Vanessa Shepherd to film an exclusive behind-the-scenes documentary of the production. What she uncovers will shed light on Russell’s true intentions for relocating his show to the Abaddon and the evil waiting to be unleashed…

“Though the plot of this addition in the franchise is simplistic, it is well-woven with many layers that touch on themes such as religion, friendship, the afterlife, and denial. In fact, while Hell House LLC III: Lake of Fire is intended to be a found footage film, there’s nothing pretentious or bothersome about the execution of the premise.” Cryptic Rock
“Lake of Fire is the third film founded on identical concepts of a theater troupe and camera crew setting up shop in the same haunted hotel only to be casually creeped out for an hour until a fiery finale. Lake of Fire feels the fatigue of having every drop drained from this well.” Culture Crypt
“There are some undeniably intriguing ideas at play here, but they just don’t come together in satisfying or entertaining fashion Hell House LLC III: Lake of Fire is an ambitious stab at closing out a horror trilogy, but as much as that’s an accomplishment worth celebrating the end result is an unfortunate disappointment.” Film School Rejects
” …generates genuine chills : there’s a harrowing descent into the hotel basement, a scary lighting test and social media selfies that capture more than the narcissistic photographer intended. Given the three-film build-up, however, the final outcome feels a little flaccid…” HorrorScreams VideoVault
“There’s far too much time spent building a mythology that brings in characters from the other two movies […] Outside of a few clever scares, this third installment in the Hell House LLC series never manages to rise above being a middling effort.” MaddWolf
” …the final third film in the Hell House universe and it closes with a satisfying and lingering slam […] it’s a real treat if you like haunted hotel stories like The Beyond or The Innkeepers; though it’s not as gruesome as The Beyond or as light as The Innkeepers.” Nightmarish Conjurings
” …I have to say that I awaited the release of its third and final chapter with much anticipation, and it was well worth the wait because Cognetti and team did not disappoint. Hell House LLC III is a satisfactory conclusion to this three-part thrill ride, with plenty of scares and consistent tension to boot.” Screen Fervor
“It feels like Hell House LLC III: Lake of Fire is setting Abaddon up as another Castle Rock or Innsmouth. But none of this is really developed. The film just rehashes the same kind of found footage gotchas and interview scenes as the first two films. And it’s very old and tired by now.” Voices from the Balcony
