Reviews:

“Perhaps Cohn should’ve just made a comedy, but he’s deadly serious here, and I’m sure there’s some type of dream logic one needs to tap into to fully grasp what the screenplay is trying to achieve. Unfortunately, there’s little reason to put in that level of concentration and analysis, especially when the final film is only 10% Shatner and 90% B-movie nonsense.” Blu-ray.com

“With an ending that smacks of primary school first attempts at fiction, this has to go down as one of the year’s silliest horror films. It’s oddly endearing, however, perhaps due to the earnestness with which it’s delivered. Shatner is hilarious and despite the obvious padding in places it’s fairly well-paced, making it easy to keep watching.” Eye for Film

“From the stiff and painful cardboard acting to the film’s ridiculously convoluted and nonsensical ending, Devil’s Revenge isn’t even worthy of a Razzie. Skip it.” Killer Horror Critic

” …we here at OC Movie Reviews fully appreciate that a film made on a low budget isn’t going to be full of eye-popping CGI. But this film was made with some $1.5 million. That’s a lot of cash. But no amount of eerie music (and there is a lot) can save Devil’s Revenge. Fans of Shatner should watch for the OTT’ness, fans of Ryan should probably look elsewhere.” OC Movie Reviews

Devil’s Revenge had potential to at least be fun. The creatures, designed by Vincent J. Guastini (Art Of The Dead, Havenhurst), look like extras from a GWAR, (or Lordi if you prefer), concert. And Shatner’s overacting is always amusing. But the script lets it down. There are about 45 minutes to an hour’s worth of story dragged out to feature-length.” Voices from the Balcony
