Possible influence on slashers:
The film has sometimes been cited by some as an influence on the development of the American slasher film genre, e.g. Night School and Nail Gun Massacre because they also feature a black-clad killer in a motorcycle helmet, however, this seems very doubtful because – as far as we can ascertain – the movie was never released theatrically in the USA.
