THE CRUMBS (2020) Reviews of comedy horror

The Crumbs is 2020 American comedy horror feature film about Doctor Benjamin and his family who run a bed and breakfast in the woods. Thereafter, the family performs experiments on unsuspecting guests.

Directed by David J. Espinosa (Demon Fighter; The Evil Down the Street) from a screenplay co-written with Craig Ahrens, the CRA Entertainment production stars Jeff Hatch, Maria Olsen, Chelsea Jurkiewicz and Anton Clark.

“Espinosa and company […] manage to shoot the action in such a way that it doesn’t take away from the effectiveness despite the missed opportunity to throw in a highlight gag or two. It would have paired quite well with the madcap sense of camp and energy that permeates the exaggerated run time of 111 minutes.” Get on My Damn Level

There’s a lot to like about The Crumbs. The laboratory is a nice piece of set design […] It’s not that easy making a family of killers seem funny and likable. Although that does somewhat fade as the film wears on and the film gradually takes a darker and more serious tone.” Voices from the Balcony

The Crumbs was released online on October 22nd 2020.
