Plaga Zombie: American Invasion is a 2021 comedy action horror film about four heroes that have to face off against hordes of alien-controlled zombies.
Directed by Garry Medeiros from a screenplay co-written with producers Cheryl LePan and Walter Rivero.
The movie stars Ben Tolosa, Matthew G. Hill, Corey Omar and Walter Rivero.
Plot:
In 1997 an alien race attempted the invasion of a small city in Argentina by fertilizing the human population turning them into bloodthirsty zombies. The plan almost worked until three unlikely heroes emerged, battling back the zombies, and ultimately destroying the alien mother ship.
Now, sixteen years later, the aliens are back to their old tricks. Their target this time around is the USA. The city of New Bedford, Massachusetts is quickly overrun by the alien zombie infestation. To contain the outbreak the US government detaches the city at its fault line, setting it adrift into the Atlantic Ocean.
Amazingly, four new heroes emerge and must not only battle through the hordes of zombies, stop the alien invasion, but also anchor the floating city before it smashes head-on into the Azores Islands…
