Welcome to Hell is a 2021 Argentinian horror film about a terrified mother-to-be who is desperate to escape her murderous ex… who is part of a satanic death metal band!

Directed by Jimena Monteoliva (Clementina; All Night Long) from a screenplay written by Camilo De Cabo.

The Crudo Films production stars William Prociuk and Demián Salomón.

Plot:
Desperate to escape the dangerous and deadly leader of a satanic death metal band, mother-to-be Lucia moves to a remote cabin in the forest with her grandmother. Though safe in her surroundings, she is haunted by his memory and knows he will stop at nothing to track her down…

Reviews:

“This falls short on every level, it’s decently made but the locations ruin any aesthetic sense they were going for. The metal band members lean toward dopey and everything is overdone to the point that you catch yourself giggling in the most serious moments. If you make it to the ending, it jumps to True Blood and Buffy… camp pretty fast.” Matt Woolfrey

Release:
The film premiered at the Sitges Film Festival in Spain and was screened at the Buenos Aires International Film Festival.
Welcome to Hell was released on the Screambox streaming platform and On-Demand (VOD) on July 12, 2022.
