Reviews:
“This film is filled with neon hues and takes advantage of the strange distance between driver and rider, as well as the tight quarters of being inside a stranger’s vehicle. The next time I’m tired from walking up the big hills around my house, I’ll just remember that things can be so much scarier.” B&S About Movies

“The audience loves tension and drama,” says Dawn, yet her namesake film, despite a slick look, is inert. Unless you’re Locke, constant talking in a moving car makes for sluggish, über-dull cinema. Halfway through, respite looks to arrive when Dawn pulls into a gas station, where a demented fan (Nicholas Brendon, Psycho Beach Party) asks for the honor of being stabbed to death, but it’s a nonsensical scene.” Flick Attack

Dawn is one of those movies where you really need to switch off your brain, you know the type, a serial killer has bloodily murdered three victims but there’s not a trace of blood upon her person or attire, and by picking up potential victims in full view of other people at a public place […] All the same Jackie Moore is a blast to watch and more than makes up for the gaps in plot logic.” My Bloody Reviews

“Basically, Dawn is really an actors’ movie as it’s restricted mostly (if by no means exclusively) to the three protagonists in a car, and leads Jackie Moore, Sarah French and Jared Cohn sure play well off one another. But of course, they’re also helped by a clever script full of sharp dialogue, while the genre-savvy direction does its best to loosen things up without losing the tension, and doesn’t shy away from things getting a little violent every now and again.” Search My Trash
