Don’t Come Back Alive is a 2022 supernatural horror film about a female cop who attracts an evil entity named The Albino.

Directed by Néstor Sánchez Sotelo (My Amazing Funeral; Pescadores; Caída del Cielo; Los Nadies) from a screenplay written by written by Hernán Moyano (Feroz; Cold Sweat; Pussycake; Watch’em Die).

The Argentinian Del Toro Films production stars Marco de la O, María Abadi, Melisa Garat, Fiorela Duranda and Ruby Vizcarra.

Plot synopsis:

Camila is a young member of an elite police unit. During an operation in a dangerous area, she turns up in the middle of a ritual, in which the followers of a cult have burnt themselves to death. She also suffers severe burns all over her body and goes into a coma.

During her long recovery, her friend Fatima, a criminal prosecutor, and her partner and ex-boyfriend Ángel support her. But Camila acts strangely, she is distant and emotionless.

Production and release:
Don’t Come Back Alive was presented for international sales at the 75th annual Cannes Film Festival Marche du Film from May 17, 2022. The film will be released in Argentina on September 29. 2022.
