‘Nature waits’
Rewilding is a 2022 British folk horror anthology film based around three tales of nature.

Written, photographed and directed by Ric Rawlins. The movie stars Natasha Neckles, Daniel Charles Doherty, Samantha Elizabeth Hudson and Georgina Palmer.

Blurb:
“In this captivating folk horror anthology, a trio of characters are drawn into the realm of ancient lands, from forests to sea caves and village fields. Unearthing the truth, however, sometimes requires a burial – and along the way, they’ll meet the ghost of a 16th-century witchfinder, a murderous cult and a Sea Goddess with sacrificial ideas. Rewilding takes its cues from the classic 1970s era of British folk horror and the ghost stories of MR James, unearthing its influences into a frightfully modern experience.”

Reviews:
Rewilding is an intriguing anthology with some good to amazing segments. The cast in each story is incredible, bolstering the creepy tales they appear in; this is especially true of Neckles. Rawlins’ cinematography in each narrative balances the beautiful tranquillity of the countryside with the dark fear of isolation. While there are a few flaws here and there, the finished product is full of wonder, magic, and frightening setpieces.” 8.5 out of 10, Film Threat
