Reviews:
“Compared to the first film, this second film is an improvement in terms of entertainment. The horror is more exciting, the survival is more realistic, the setting and world are also more cinematic, it no longer really follows the game which has a horror concept in routine things. After all, the spirit of the game is still conveyed with jump scares and a horror vibe, and of course through the way the film raises the issue of Pamali.” My Dirt Sheet [translated from Indonesian]
“Following the original material, the Pamali element is the cause of the outbreak that occurred in the village. The clues to this mystery are given very minimally, plus the characters are never made to wonder about what is wrong with the village they visit. Even though the message contained in it is interesting…” 4 out of 10, Notes of Hobbies [translated from Indonesian]

Film Facts:
Pocong is a Javanese ghost that is said to be the soul of a dead person trapped in their shroud. Known in Indonesian as kain kafan, the shroud is the prescribed length of cloth used in Muslim burials to wrap the body of the dead person. The dead body is covered in white fabric tied over the head, under the feet, and on the neck.
According to traditional beliefs, the soul of a dead person will stay on the Earth for forty days after death. If the ties over the shroud are not released after forty days, the body is said to jump out from the grave to warn people that the soul needs to be released. Once the ties are released, the soul will leave the Earth permanently.
