Reviews:
“The intriguing premise of T.I.M. explores nuanced relationships between people and A.I. but needs to deliver an engaging and emotionally impactful experience. Weak character development missed thematic opportunities, and inconsistent direction leave viewers wanting more. Despite its potential, T.I.M. is constrained by its limitations, resulting in a mediocre film that fails to engage or challenge its audience fully. As a result, I sadly can’t recommend it.” All Horror

“Regimented directorial finesse, combined with outstanding performances by Georgina Campbell and Eamon Farren elevates the film as sci-fi enthusiasts and those intrigued by the ethical implications of AI will find themselves thoroughly engrossed in this thought-provoking and reality terrifying cinematic experience.” ★★★★ Back to the Movies

“The clean and commercial gloss along with the straight performances give T.I.M. the deceptive appearance of a serious thriller, but that climbing sense of absurdity makes it come off as more of a dressed-up “B” movie. Albeit an amusing one. The funnier parts aren’t too obvious or even indulgent enough to qualify this as a campy genre comedy, and certainly the offenses of the lovesick ‘droid are too ridiculous to ever be considered scary.” ★★★ Bloody Disgusting

” …the film falls short of providing an engaging and emotionally impactful experience. A film that leaves viewers wanting more is a result of the weak character development, missed opportunities for thematic exploration, and inconsistent direction. Despite its potential, T.I.M. is still constrained by its own limitations, which leads to a mediocre film that doesn’t fully engage or challenge its audience.” C+ Caillou Pettis Movie Reviews

T.I.M. is a solid, understated thriller, it’s engaging and uses a classic premise. However, it’s missing a darker, more violent edge or a uniqueness to drive it where it needs to go. Eamon Farren, Georgina Campbell and Mark Rowley are a great leading trio, but it feels as though Rowley is the only one who really gets enough room to flesh out his character.” ★★★½ Film Carnage

“This stylishly icy-looking thriller sounds the techno-fear klaxon and stirs up a hornet’s nest of paranoia about AI and deep fake technology, but then rather misses the point with a clunky cyborg stalker plot.” ★★ The Guardian

“While T.I.M. may not have the shock value of M3GAN, it’s still a disturbing situation, even if we can’t work out whether Tim is equipped with the necessary parts to consummate its intended ‘relationship’ with Abi. Although T.I.M. pretty much sticks to the expected formula, it does so well and is a worthy entry into the android-run-amok subgenre.” ★★★★ Starburst
