The Devil’s Lair is a 2023 Indonesian horror film in which four youngsters rob an old house and unwittingly unleash an evil vengeful spirit.

Plot:
Financially desperate, Alin cajoles Gani into robbing an old house alongside friends Fitrah and Zia. Everything runs smoothly until the would-be thieves discover a shackled woman, Sukma, in the basement. Presuming that she is an abused victim, they free her without knowing the dire consequences of their well-meaning actions.
With the help of Urip, a paranormal trapped within, the youngsters discover to their dismay that Sukma was possessed by Mbah Sarap, a vengeful spirit. Soon, a deadly curse in Sukma’s bloodline is revealed, that can only be stopped by an ancient dagger hidden somewhere in the house…
