As reported first by Coming Soon, the movie is directed by David Andrew James from a screenplay co-written with Joe Zappa based on a concept by Nick Laughlin. Produced by Patrick Ewald.
The Dread Presents production stars John Wells, Madison Pullins, Patrick Taft, Brandi Botkin and Terry Tocantins.
Release:
Bag of Lies was released theatrically in select US locations by Epic Pictures’ Dread label on March 29, 2024. A VOD release followed on April 2, 2024.
Writer-director David Andrew James commented: “My producing team and I are thrilled to have our film making its debut within one year of shooting the project. We couldn’t have found a better cast and crew to collaborate with, and we’re grateful for the opportunity from Epic to make a film that packs as much of an emotional punch, as it does a chilling one.”
