Reviews:
“Rock’s performance is a tad one-note, all mournful whispers and suspicious looks. Cowan hits a better balance of making you wonder what her character’s deal is. When you find out, she impressively sells the necessary emotions. Again, You’ll Never Find Me has an intentionally languid pace, so you have to be willing to settle into the atmosphere for a while before you get to the full horror.” The Aisle Seat

You’ll Never Find Me is an unsettling slice of horror fare designed to keep viewers on edge from its opening moments, and it does so magnificently. Learn nothing more about it and put it high on your need-to-see list. I give it my highest recommendation.” Horror Fuel

” …the film has extremely well crafted and interesting dialogue that carries the movie through. Probably the only letdown for me was the ending. It wasn’t a bad ending, it just perhaps wasn’t the ending I wanted. Otherwise, though I had a great time with this movie and will happily add it to my list of great Australian horror films. 9 out of 10, Jtindahouse

“If the dynamic between the two characters never quite works as effectively as the film would like, the blame can’t be levelled at Rock or Cowan. Both are excellent in their roles […] You’ll Never Find Me can’t quite maintain its tension for its feature-length however, and the final twist is both somewhat predictable and logic-defying, reliant on one character not being able to put two and two together.” ★★★ The Movie Waffler

“Some of its biggest beats didn’t work for me, personally, but only because it was up against my own assumptions about these characters’ closely guarded secrets. The best slow burns lead to a violent boil and although You’ll Never Find Me didn’t set my world on fire, it is a taught thriller for those dark nights of the soul when you want a scary story that takes its time to reveal the horrors waiting for you.” Nightmare on Film Street

“Patrick is plenty suspicious, and Rock leans into his awkward persona, but his visitor is a bit off herself. What is she doing there? Bell and Allen expertly modulate the tension until the film explodes in a surreal, unexpected final act. It’s a smart, well-made little thriller.” RogerEbert.com

“There are a few visceral moments here and there that drop clues about where the narrative is going, and when the movie begins turning that corner, Allen and Bell deliver the revelations and ramifications with a confidence equal to their handling of unease created by looks, gestures and silences.” Rue Morgue

You’ll Never Find Me is an excellent, audacious entry to the horror genre. It’s disconcerting and thrilling, with an emotional center and something to say. Allen and Bell confidently craft an effective story that will stay with you long after it’s over. The performances are top-notch, and the horror aspects, which settle in the heart and don’t abate, are excellently utilized.” ★★★★ Screen Rant

“The direction from Bell and Allen quickly immerses you in dread. Something percolates at the edges of the frame, but it’s unclear who or what is dangerous […] Framing the atmosphere goes a long way in delivering a terrifying, slow-burn experience. Additionally, the performances from Cowan and Rock are impeccable.” Sunshine State Cineplex
