Reviews:
“The elements for a gripping crime horror film are present but are not effectively utilized. The film’s predictable storyline, shallow character development, and lackluster atmosphere result in a forgettable viewing experience. While it may hold some appeal for fans of the genre seeking a simple, straightforward horror film, it fails to leave a lasting impression or offer anything new or innovative.” Rating: C, Caillou Pettis Movie Reviews
“Dead Sea is a well-directed, well-acted thriller that is quite chilling, especially with its lurid plot, featuring as unsettling a plan by its two main villains as you’re going to find in a movie. The only thing I can think of is it does have a rather lame title — Dead Sea — which doesn’t really fit with the events of the movie, but that’s just me nitpicking.” ★★★ Michael Arruda
“The film’s attempt to create a horror atmosphere falls flat, failing to evoke the intended sense of fear. Coupled with a highly predictable plot, the lack of suspense becomes glaringly obvious. As a result, viewers can easily anticipate what will happen next, diminishing any potential for genuine thrills or surprises.” 4/10, Midgard Times
