‘In this town, 2003 was a killer year’
Time Cut is a 2024 sci-fi slasher comedy horror film about a high school student who accidentally travels back to 2003 and decides to stop the serial killer who murdered her sister.
The movie was directed by Hannah Macpherson (Sickhouse; T@gged series) from a screenplay co-written with Michael Kennedy from a story by the latter. It was produced by Matt Kaplan and Christopher Landon (Freaky; Happy Death Day).
The movie stars Madison Bailey, Antonia Gentry, Michael Shanks, Griffin Gluck, Rachael Crawford, Jordan Pettle, Megan Best, Samuel Braun, Sydney Sabiston and Kataem O’Connor.
Plot:
A modern high school senior and amateur inventor — accidentally finds a time machine and travels back to 2003, the year her sister was murdered by an unknown serial killer.
Now torn between solving the mystery that has undone her parents and hometown, saving the sister she never knew, and irreparably altering the future — and her existence — Lucy must decide how to stop the slasher, save her family, and blend into 2003…
