Devon is a 2024 horror film about five adventurers exploring an abandoned asylum for clues to what happened to a missing young woman.
The movie was written, directed and executive produced by Jenni Farley (JWoww), making her feature directorial debut.
The JLF Entertainment-RAP co-production stars Tara Rule, Steven Etienne, Hank Santos, Rotisha Geter and Lauren Carlin.
Plot:
Devon’s parents never stopped searching for answers after she disappeared from a notorious asylum. Years after the incident, a mysterious website draws five adventurers to the abandoned asylum where she was last seen. Armed with cameras, they plunge into the darkness, unaware they’re filming their descent into horror — never meant to return…

“You’d think Jenni Farley might have more means to produce a higher quality movie, yet the slapdash “style” and cluttered credits where multiple jobs are handled by the same five people condemn Devon to the same cellar as every other DTV disaster filmed with friends and family over a weekend. Although we get a glimpse of the characters’ backgrounds, the development is minimal, leaving much to be desired. But they copied all the wrong things and instead of Grave Encounters ended up with Episode 50. Devon was released by Cineverse on VOD via their Screambox platform on November 12, 2024, having been promoted repeatedly by business partners Bloody Disgusting.
Writer-director Jenni Farley has enthused: “I am thrilled to be diving into the horror space alongside Cineverse and Screambox who have the industry and fandom knowledge to see that Devon lands in the hands of the right audience.
