‘Judge. Vote. Kill.’
Werewolf Game is a 2024 mystery horror film based on the iconic party game of the same name in which strangers vote on who to kill. It is based on the social deduction game, Werewolf, which is Andrew Plotkin’s reinvention of Dimitry Davidoff’s 1987 game, Mafia. The Werewolf game appeared in many forms before Bézier Games published Ultimate Werewolf in 2008.
Directed by Jackie Payne and Cara Claymore from a screenplay written by the former. Produced by Robbie Bryan, Daniel Lonsbury, Rob Margolies and Gretel Snyder.
The Sunstrike Pictures-Different Duck Films co-production stars the late Tony Todd (The Changed; Final Destination; Candyman franchise), Teala Dunn (Are We There Yet?), Lydia Hearst (Cabin Fever 3: Patient Zero; Z Nation), Bai Ling (Johnny & Clyde; Night Caller; Exorcism at 60,000 Feet) and Robert Picardo (Mansion of Blood; Matinee; Munchies). Plot:
Adapted from the adult party game of social deduction, Werewolf Game is a death-game, horror mystery film. Twelve kidnapped strangers must play a game where they vote on who amongst them to murder. At night, the “werewolves” hidden among them come out to brutally kill one of the twelve “villagers” in return. The days repeat until one winning group remains…
