Film Facts:
Director Mario Caiano allegedly wanted to highlight the gory scenes with red colour but the idea was dropped due to budget limitations.

The movie served as the inspiration for punk band The Misfits’ song ‘Hybrid Moments’. During their April 2019 Chicago reunion performance scenes from Nightmare Castle were shown during their rendition of the song.
