Reviews [click links to read more]:

” …definitely an offensive flick, but not just on a moral and intellectual level : the lame “is she really doing it or is it all in her head?” subplot that Braunstein and Gilboy try to get going falls totally flat, most of the performances are either pretty bad … and the film’s production values are absolute shit, particularly the numerous and poorly-realized “empty alleys at night”…” Ryan C., Trash Film Guru

The CineTel film was acquired by Anchor Bay Entertainment for US distribution.

In the UK, Platform Entertainment released the film – passed uncut by the BBFC – on 26 October 2015.

  1. For some reason, the woman getting horrendous (but well deserved) revenge on attackers genre has always interested me, but it’s still one that I can’t watch. Charles Bronson’s Death Wish movies? Bring ’em on! The Beguiled? (Is that the one where Eastwood’s a rapist, well, okay, he’s intent on raping the women in the house, leading to a wonderful line from the black housekeeper (paraphrased) “I hope you like screwing a dead woman.” (I took it to mean she’d kill herself before he’d get the chance to do anything, but it’s been over 20 years, so I could be wrong.)

Sorry for the rambling comment, but this new movie may just cure me of my “Women Get Revenge After Horrible Thing Is Done To Them” phobia!

This has got to be better than the previous “I Spit on Your Grave 2” that wasn’t a sequel and didn’t even have Camille Keaton using her real name! (Shudder…The Cinema Snob got me through that one!)
