Sihir Tanah Kubur is a 2026 horror film based on a viral story that circulated online and centres on black magic, cursed graves, and supernatural disturbances linked to a mysterious burial site. The title translates into English as “Graveyard Sorcery”.
Directed by JeroPoint (Tumbal Proyek; writer of Cek Khodam; Village of the Dead; Black Blood; A Woman Called Mother; Massacre of the Witches; Perewangan; The Verge of Death) from a screenplay co-written with SandikaGusti (Tumbal Proyek). Produced by Raam Punjabi.
The MVP Pictures production stars Kiesha Alvaro, Ariyo Wahab, Shareefa Daanish, Revaldo [sic], Adzwa Aurell and Rafi Sanjaya.
Plot:
The story revolves around a cursed grave known as Makam Wurung (“The Unfinished Grave”). A series of strange deaths and supernatural events begin to plague a community after dark secrets connected to the grave and an act of black magic are uncovered.
As the mystery deepens, the protagonists discover that the grave is tied to an ancient curse capable of affecting both the living and the dead. To survive, they must unravel the origins of the sorcery before more victims are claimed…
