Galaxy of Horrors is a 2017 science fiction horror anthology film comprised of eight shorts that were shown at Unstable Ground’s Little Terrors Festival in Toronto.

Trapped in a damaged cryogenic pod, a man is forced to watch a series of horrific science fiction tales while his life support systems run out…
The anthology series is the brainchild of Little Terrors founder Justin McConnell and Indiecan Entertainment’s Avi Federgreen.

Galaxy of Horrors features eight stories from international directors Todd Cobery, Javier Chillon, Richard Karpala, Andrew Desmond, Benni Diez, Marinko Spahic, Dennis Cabella, Marcello Ercole, Fabio Prati, Antonio Padovan and Ethan Shaftel. A wrap-around story, directed by McConnell, ties the film together.

The first Little Terrors Festival collection, Minutes Past Midnight is already out on VOD, DVD and Blu-ray.

Reviews:

” …it’s worth the price of a rental just off the strength of the first small handful of stories. A grand color scheme seems to be one of the anthologies recurring themes and it keeps the brain stimulated constantly. The fact that a number of these stories are genuinely original in concept, and that too elevates the feature as a whole.” Addicted to Horror Movies

“While one or two experiments were less than ideal, there are a number of quality shorts, within Galaxy of Horrors. Fans of horror anthologies are encouraged to pick up a copy of this mix of film shorts.” 28 Days Later Analysis

Galaxy of Horrors is just what I look for in an indie feature. If you go into it expecting big budget effects or performances you’re going to have a bad time, but if you give it a chance and appreciate the clear artistry of most of it I think you’ll enjoy yourself.” Horror Society

“McConnell’s semi-meta, claustrophobic wraparound short is also pretty clever.  A man’s life hangs in limbo as he’s forced to watch videos in a malfunctioning pod – a bit of Mystery Science Theatre 3000 dowsed in Heavy Metal.  The videos play for him – and for us – in a disjointed order;  a forgivable trait since Galaxy of Horrors basically throws the audience into immediate abruptness.” Wylie Writes
