‘You’ve seen the rest… now meet the best’
Lady Avenger is a 1988 action-revenge film about gang violence and a determined heroine seeking justice outside the law.
The movie was directed by David DeCoteau and stars Peggy McIntaggart.
The film has become something of a cult B-movie among fans of cheesy 1980s action cinema. Its appeal comes less from polished filmmaking and more from its relentless revenge storyline, practical stunts, and excessive weapon-based mayhem.

Plot:
Maggie Blair (Peggy McIntaggart) is serving time in prison when she learns that her brother has been murdered by a violent gang. Granted temporary leave to attend his funeral, she escapes custody and embarks on a mission to find those responsible.
As Maggie investigates, she discovers connections between street gangs, drug trafficking, and the circumstances surrounding her brother’s death. With the help of allies she meets along the way, she tracks down gang members one by one, moving deeper into the criminal underworld.
Her quest evolves from simple revenge into a search for the truth, uncovering secrets that suggest there may be more to her brother’s murder than she first believed. The film culminates in a series of violent confrontations in which Maggie uses everything from firearms to improvised weapons to exact vengeance on the lowlife scum responsible…
