Reviews [click links to read more]:

“For true horror lovers, Hounds of Love is a Must See. It’s a tough watch, and one that a great many people will not be able to make it through, but in a genre that tends to aim for the lowest common denominator with many of its offerings, it’s a hypnotic, horrific, multi-layered piece of art. And it’s also the stuff of nightmares. Real ones.” The Horror Club

” …why would I want to care about characters whose backstories are so immaterial? Young has a good idea here, but doesn’t work hard enough to flesh out the Whites so that their pre-Vicki lives are as rich as their current actions are degrading. Hounds of Love is ultimately an ugly film whose ambitions are never matched by its creators’ limited abilities.” RogerEbert.com

“The greatest feat of Ben Young’s tremendously accomplished directorial debut is that it tackles an easily sensationalized narrative with uncanny poise and a sharp understanding of the power of empathetic identification.” Screen Anarchy

  1. Looks like the true story of the insane Moors serial killer couple in England, only it’s set in Perth Australia.
