Reviews:

“Instead of getting bogged down in the history of the house, Unholy keeps the focus on the current owners’ predicament, which makes for compelling viewing.  Also, there are some genuine surprises in the final act, when the film tries to do things that should, by rights, be a step too far for the tiny budget. It carries them off surprisingly well.” 21st Century British Horror

“A very plain semi is turned into a veritable house of horrors with little more than creepy camerawork, a bit of sleight of hand and some subtle CGI shadows. And for those expecting an ending that involves the characters increasing the volume of their screams in place of last act tension, Winson pulls it out of the bag…” Dark Eyes of London

“Even if the micro-budget charm of Unholy fails to be the fire of your loins, there’s a few sequences of practical and miniature FX work in the final reel that’s truly majestic, ensuring that despite some flaws, Winson’s film is certainly one to purchase.” The Schlock Pit
