‘It’s time to believe

American Bigfoot is a 2017 comedy horror film written and directed by Glenn Martin (When Night Comes). Originally titled Kampout

The Buckdog Productions movie stars Zach Galligan (The Chair; Hatchet III; Waxwork; Gremlins), Braden Baker and Lisa Baldwin. Clint Howard has a cameo role.

Enraged by the murder of its offspring, a Bigfoot rampages through the countryside of Southeast Ohio.

Detective Benson (Zach Galligan), Ranger Thomas (Johnny Lechner) and Bigfoot researcher Hank (Dave Sherrill) scramble to locate the legendary creature before it attacks a group of teenagers on a camping trip in an isolated place called Kampout…

” …while there’s nothing really wrong with American Bigfoot – it’s quite well put together and the Ohio countryside looks beautiful – the Sasquatch costumes are awful, the comedy fails to deliver for the most part, and it has an open-ended conclusion which is pitiful rather than thought-provoking. It’s just a very unnecessary film…” Dark Eyes of London

American Bigfoot was released on DVD in the UK by Point Blank on 29 January 2018.
