Silam is a 2018 Indonesian supernatural horror feature film directed by Jose Poernomo (Gasing Tengkorak; JailanGkung; Ruqyah: The Exorcism; et al), based on a novel by Risa Saraswati. The Pichouse Films-MD Pictures production stars Zidane Khalid, Surya Saputra, Wukan Gurnito, Nova Eliza and Anna Tairas.
Plot:
Baskara (Zidane Khalid) has always been subjected to ill-treatment at school and at his home by his biological mother Fina (Nova Elisa). Because he could not stand it, he decided to run away to the house of Uncle Anton (Surya Saputra) who was his father’s twin brother.
Uncle Anton lives with his wife, Aunt Ami (Wula Guritno) and two twin children. The friendly atmosphere at Uncle Anton’s family makes Baskara happy; unfortunately, he soon begins to be terrorised by the spirits inhabiting the house…
