‘Madness has no limits’

Asylum: Twisted Horror and Fantasy Tales is a 2020 horror anthology feature film consisting of short films with a wraparound involving a stand-up comedian.

Argentinian director Nicolás Onetti (Abrakadabra; What the Waters Left Behind; Francesca) is the creative director with the shorts directed by Alejandro Damiani (Don’t Breathe), Carlos Goitia, Damien LeVeck (The Cleansing Hour), Kheireddine El-Helou (Drudge), Mat Johns, Albert Pinto, Caye Casas and Andrew Desmond, Walgenwitz & Winshluss, Adam O´Brien (wraparound segment director) and Hendryk Witscherkowsky.

The main cast comprises Raymond Lee, Clara Kovacic, Bruno Giacobbe, Cristian Majolo, Ariadna Asturzzi, Claudio Medina, Germán Baudino, Itiziar Castro, Sam Jaeger.

Plot:

Comedian Brandon prepares to give his last stand-up comedy show. As his stories and jokes pass, the public begins to cheer up. But at that precise moment, Brandon will realise that these stories have a strong relationship with his past. More than he imagines…
