Written and directed by Colin Krisel and James Krisel, the Metalwork Pictures movie stars Samara Weaving (Ready or Not; Guns Akimbo; The Babysitter), Brian Cox (Morgan; The Autopsy of Jane Doe; Trick ‘r Treat), Carly Chaikin (Into the Dark: New Year, New You), Zach Avery (You’re Not Alone; Trespassers; Curvature) and Udo Kier (Skinwalker; The Mother of Tears; Flesh for Frankenstein; et al).

Three years after witnessing the murder of his fiancée, a man finds himself a fearful drifter, until one day at a Parisian cinema he sees an actress who looks a lot like his dead love, and eventually, he finds the truth about his fiancée…

Reviews [click links to read more]:

“Sam’s obsession with a blonde woman who resembles his dead brunette girlfriend, along with his sometimes scary intensity about tracking her down, clearly nods to Alfred Hitchcock’s classic thriller Vertigo, and writer-director brothers Colin and James Krisel try to build a similar tone of mystery and madness […] but Last Moment of Clarity only suffers for the comparisons to some of the master filmmaker’s best-known work” CBR

“Zach Avery plays the lead of the movie and he does a good enough job of commanding the screen. That said, the rest of the cast is running circles around him. Samara Weaving once again proves that she is one of the most exciting rising stars working today as the femme fatale. Udo Kier delivers a wonderful but brief turn as the antagonist. And Brian Cox, while underused, gets a memorable speech.” Disappointment Media

“The Krisel Brothers were obviously inspired by early Hitchcock but their execution of the plot, action, and character development, or lack thereof, is uninspiring and just plain lazy. The premise is the only interesting aspect of the movie and even with such a talented cast in place, they cannot save the clichéd action (what little there is) and pedestrian dialogue.” Irish Film Critic

” …worth seeing. Weaving continues to prove herself as one of the top actresses today, and I’d add Chaikin is more than deserving of her chance at a lead role in either a show or film. For what they both do is drive to different goals and rather than compete to the point of eclipsing the other, Kat and Georgia ultimately complement one another.” Wherever I Look
