More than thirty years later, four young friends decide to go to a remote island, where “trespassing” is forbidden. One of the young friends, Toby, wants to propose to his girlfriend, Amy, in a romantic setting where the memory of the proposal would last a lifetime. Shelly falls into the lake where the young woman got bitten thirty-three years previously and history repeats itself. Frantic to save their friend, the group finds a little run-down shack. Unbeknownst to them, they run straight into…
Reviews:
” …the DVD front cover has more gore, more skin, and even a shark in the water. Low and behold, none of those enamours exists. I will say this about Mermaid Isle, the mermaid itself looks convincing, obscured enough around the seams and the physical fish tale to pull off an effective mermaid creature with pitch-black eyes and a face flush with hunger.” It’s Bloggin Evil!
