‘A work of art with a body count’

Master Pieces is a 2020 American horror film about a deranged artist who goes on a killing spree. Meanwhile, a new wife, a weird collection agency, and odd happenings around the house add to his troubles.

Written and directed by Geoffrey Ciani and Christian Twiste, the movie stars the latter alongside Tesia Nicoli, Ryan MacNamara and Lisa Goulian. Produced by Geoffrey Ciani, S.E. Hackett and Christian Twiste.

Reviews:

“At its core Master Pieces was almost like American Psycho in that it is never really clear if what is going on is just in a character’s head, or if what the viewer is being shown is actually happening. It came to a point where I just gave up trying to piece together the story and let it all wash over me. Scenes are a varied bunch, there are some I thought were great, but others were so inane as to be boring.” The Rotting Zombie

“Some parts of the film play as pure horror, with plenty of gruesome bits as well as utter suspense and excitement in the third act to vouch for that, but then the plot as such also takes a turn to the absurd every now and again, has touches of satire, and plenty of humour ranging from the crude and gross-out to the very refined, changing between all of this deliberately and without warning…” Search My Trash

“Unlike some micro-budget films such as Amityville Island or The Jonestown Haunting, it has plenty of entertainment value. And while the effects are mostly blood splatter it does serve up a well done slow-motion throat slitting. Master Pieces may not be a masterpiece, but it’s worth a look…” Voices from the Balcony
