Reviews:

” …the overall mystery that the film sets up is just not interesting in and of itself. It’s hard to pull off a rewarding and cathartic ending when the rest of the movie is just so bland and uneventful […] We only ever learn a couple of things about Catherine, our lead protagonist, and even Dan, who serves as a sort of mysterious figure in the film, is painfully unexplored.” Caillou Pettis Movie Reviews

“Though Zebra Girl’s entire premise revolves around Catherine’ mental illness and the consequences of it, it shies away completely from discussing the topic head-on, and instead provides a clichéd and stereotyped version of ‘mentally ill person goes off meds and kills people.’ That is even discounting the fact that Catherine’s mental health state has to be brought on by an abusive past.” Loud and Clear

Zebra Girl is a comedy mystery that will keep evolving the story as we look to learn the truth about what Dan has been up to behind Catherine’s back, with the mystery side shining in this side of the film. The comedy comes with the moments of the social awkward side of Catherine on the first date too.” Movies Review 101

Zebra Girl is a dark film […]There’s a solid balance of cold and warm and that’s the same for the script, the characters and their actions throughout the film. Interest is piqued from beginning to end, and the way all of these technical elements come together really makes Zebra Girl an exciting and unique experience quite unlike any other.” UK Film Review
