Miracle Valley is a 2021 American mystery horror film about a photographer and his girlfriend who are looking for an ultra-rare bird. The duo is invited to a desert getaway and so go seeking fortune, fame and to mending their fading relationship. Unfortunately, there is a sinister force awaiting them and they face demons from both past, present and future.

Written, directed by and starring Greg Sestero, making his directorial debut (actor in Big Shark; Cyst; Dude Bro Party Massacre III; The Pit and the Pendulum 2009; Alien Presence; Retro Puppet Master). Sestero’s most infamous role is in the so-bad-its-good cult film The Room.

The Sestero Pictures/Firehouse Productions movie also stars Angela Mariano, Rick Edwards, Louisa Torres, R.J. Cantu, Ellie Smith, Tom Franco and Amy Smith.

Reviews:
“Perhaps it’s a learning experience for Sestero given this is his first film or maybe being behind the camera just simply isn’t his calling. On the positive side, the film looks great and some of the special effects work well. For me, though Miracle Valley was far more unintentionally hilarious than it should have been and the lack of a story posed a real problem.” Entertainment Focus

“It has a mess of ideas – some decent, some dreadful – and a nice look, making good use of Arizona locations, but it’s one of those horror movies which just never adds up … the characters fail to convince on any level, and all the bad decisions they make are motivated by a need to get to the next scene rather than any sense of people in a bad situation making things worse.” The Kim Newman Web Site

“It gets to a certain point and you just give up and enjoy the insanity for what it is – OTT fun. The dialogue and preposterous choices the characters make aren’t going to impress, the gore level increases in the last half-hour, which certainly picks up the entertainment value. For all its flaws, Greg Sestero has clearly thrown himself into the project, writing, directing, and playing the lead.” Starburst
