The Prey: Legend of Karnoctus is a 2022 action monster movie about US soldiers in Afghanistan searching for Taliban morons. The American platoon becomes trapped in a cave and is hunted down by a deadly creature.
Directed by Cire Hensman [as Eric Hensman] and Matthew Hensman from a screenplay co-written by the latter and Gustavo Sainz de la Peña based on the latter’s story. Produced by Richard D’Alessio, Juan Feldman, Eric Hensman,Lance Miccio and Gustavo Sainz de la Peña.
The movie stars Danny Trejo, Nick Chinlund, Adrian Paul, Kevin Grevioux, Fahim Fazli, Cleveland Berto, Essam Ferris, Cleo Anthony, Masika Kalysha, Reka Rene, Aria London, Ryan McIntyre and Justin Arnold.

The Prey: Legend of Karnoctus was released on some cable carriers and theatrically on June 7, 2022. A Digital release followed on July 7, 2022.

Filmmakers’ statement: “This is a true Indie-film effort with no studio support. The creation of the monster, principal photography, special FX, CGI, and some post-production were all done in-house… Literally in a garage in Anaheim, California. But we think you’ll be amazed at the big production feel that’s been achieved.”
