‘Don’t slow down!’
Bullet Train Down is a 2022 American action thriller film set on board the world’s fastest train which is rigged with a bomb that will explode if it dips below 200 mph.

The Asylum production is a mockbuster intended to exploit the publicity for Bullet Train which stars Brad Pitt. The plot was presumably inspired by the Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock-led classic, Speed.

Directed by Brian Nowak from a screenplay written by Alex Heerman. Line produced by Erica Duke. Executive produced by Paul Bales, David Michael Latt and David Rimawi.

The Asylum-Wave of the Wand Productions movie stars Tom Sizemore, Rashod Freelove, Ryan Youngwoong Kim, Xander Bailey, Carolina Vargas, Lesley Grant, Dylan J. Harris, Caleb Lowell, Zack Gold and Erica Duke.

“You can see a lot of this movie is borrowed from Speed rather than the bigger budget Bullet Train. The story itself is a simple concept that works well for creating the tension of needing to survive. Where the film can come off short, is lacking motivation for what is going on. There is also too much focus on the passengers who are doing next to nothing apart from waiting in carriages that have been made safe.” 3 out of 5, Movie Reviews 101
