York Witches Society is a 2022 British horror film about the titular university society that accidentally awakens an evil entity. Also known as York Witches’ Society.

Directed by Liza Bolton from the screenplay co-written with Philippe Martinez, Brian Marchetti and Jack Marchetti.

The movie stars Georgia Lock plus (alphabetically) Adwoa Akoto, Louise Bangay, Colin Bennett, Sophie Bloor, Sasha Clarke, Sydney Craven, Wade Crouch, Andrew Guest, Finbar Lynch, Vivien Mills, William Prince, Rose Quentin, Bryan Samson, Kirsty Anne Shaw, Ava Hope Smith and Rachel Warren.

Plot synopsis:
Amber Gray (Georgia Lock) catches the attention of an elite group of students during her first semester at university. During the initiation, Amber and the York Witches’ Society unintentionally awaken an ancient evil that has been waiting to finish the job it started centuries earlier…

York Witches Society had its world premiere at the Galway Film Fleadh on July 5, 2022.
