Reviews:
“Coupled with a ridiculously entertaining script and an on-screen chemistry between Gary and his friends that fuels the film’s comedy, Kids vs. Aliens is a surprisingly bloody and unbelievably creative 75-minute free-for-all.” 8 out of 10, Bounding Into Comics
“Admittedly, one visually pleasant sequence sees Sam diving underwater to search for an alien hideout. There is also charm from the cheap cosplay costume design, nostalgic blood effects (especially when Sam finally gets to dismember some aliens with a sword), and the children’s imaginations […] Everything else about Kids vs. Aliens feels like a partially developed idea for a film that comes across as grating.” 2 out of 5, Flickering Myth
“The formula wins again! […] Well, it’s a theory that has been circling in genre films for years. Get a group of kids, make them cuss like sailors and have them fight some supernatural being. […] There is tons to love in KVA as it follows a simple yet effective format to piece together the vibrant story.” Horror Movies Uncut
“Kids vs. Aliens is pure entertainment that hits you with the goods quickly and doesn’t overstay its welcome. For the people who complain that movies are too long? Here’s one that isn’t and it still tells a complete story. You’ll find thrills, comedy, and true friendship with a group of kids who fight back against a full-on alien invasion and it really works as a not-too-scary horror comedy.” Nightmarish Conjurings
“Apart from some alien blood spray, the effects are practical with performers in creepy-looking suits portraying the creatures. Along with the body meltdown, there are severed limbs, a split head and an alien impaled through the eye as Sam quips “Enjoy the view” […] Loud, exciting and foul-mouthed, Kids vs. Aliens is a lot of fun. It even managed to surprise me a couple of times. 4 out of 5, Voices from the Balcony
