Reviews:
“I’m really hoping that we get even more Supergirl-centered stories in the near future because this one was certainly a treat. A familiar one, but a treat nonetheless. Legion of Super-Heroes certainly doesn’t do anything inventive, but it’s nevertheless an enjoyable animated action film with tons of great character moments throughout.” Calliou Pettis Movie Reviews
” …Legion of Super-Heroes boasts decent animation, an easy-to-follow story, excellent voice casting, and plenty of action. The movie tells a story which is a standalone tale, making it easily accessible for newcomers, and for the most part it is a fairly enjoyable way to spend 80(ish) minutes, if you love all things DC. However, while Legion of Super-Heroes isn’t a bad film, I have to say it isn’t amazing either.” It’s a Stampede!
“A strong entry into the DC animated canon with excellent visuals, impressive characterisation and efficient pacing. Kara is an engaging character with a clear arc that progresses naturally. The film efficiently sets up her backstory to provide strong emotional grounding for her development […] The other Legion trainees help develop her exercise in humility and the number of characters gives the film size and scope.” 4 out of 5, Kneel Before Blog
