The house transforms into a maze, making it impossible for the woman to escape. Will she be able to break the curse and escape the maze before it’s too late? or will she become the next victim of the cursed house?
Reviews:
“It features some truly weird and unsettling atmosphere and a star-making performance from Meredith VanCuyk. If you’re a horror movie van, a haunted house movie fan, or just in the mood for a worthwhile movie-watching experience, you should absolutely give Woman in the Maze a shot.” 411 Mania
“It culminates in some confusing moments that suggest a darkness that brought to mind haunted house horror films of the early 2000s. I’m glad the film went in the direction it did, even if parts of the third act had me a little too confused. There were a few surprises, though nothing groundbreaking, overall, this wasn’t a bad indie horror.” 7 out of 10, The Rotting Zombie
“Along with Bernie Tarin’s cinematography and score by George Kallis (The 100 Candles Game, The Prototype) there’s enough to overcome the weak opening act and lack of originality. The CGI effects are another liability, but there’s very few of them, thankfully. Overall, Woman in the Maze is a decent enough watch…” ★★★ Voices from the Balcony
Director-producer Mitesh Kumar Patel’s statement: “In a world that seems to be constantly changing faster and faster, and sometimes feels upside down, I knew I wanted to create a unique movie based on the idea of change and struggle. Aware of the deep mystery of Jerome as ‘The Largest Ghost Town in America’, I knew I had to base my story there. The deep and sordid history of the area inspired me to create a supernatural mystery thriller.”
