Reviews:
“The 100 Candles Game: The Last Possession” is not a film that adds much new to the horror genre, but for the most part it is quite watchable, despite a few weaker stories and moments. A work that is therefore quite enjoyable for fans of horror anthologies.” ★★★ Cinemagazine [translated from Dutch]
“The premise and occasional flashes of creativity suggest potential, but the uneven storytelling and reliance on genre clichés hold it back. This film could have stood out with a more polished finish and a commitment to originality. Instead, it delivers a mix of fleeting intrigue and missed opportunities, leaving viewers with the impression of a project that didn’t quite live up to its ambitions.” ★★ Overly Honest Reviews
“100 Candles Game: The Last Possession is another collection of shorts, some of which date back to 2015, held together with a newly shot wraparound. While this is a great way to give exposure to deserving shorts, there’s been so many anthologies used this formula that the supply of above average material is starting to run short. While none of them are actually bad, only a couple manage to rise above average.” ★★ Voices from the Balcony
