Headless is a 2023 horror film about a police officer who experiences supernatural events when investigating a headless female corpse. Also known as Jinxed, Possessed and Mystery Case.
Directed by Kai Ma from a screenplay written by He Sanqi (Into the Coffin). The Chinese production stars Zhang Zhiyao, Li Qian, Shang Tielong, Han Dong and Wang Chengsi.
Plot:
During the era of the Republic of China, Police Officer Zhao Ren is in the process of investigating the case of a headless female corpse when he encounters seemingly supernatural events such as the face of a man in the mirror, possession by evil spirits and worship of evil gods.
Zhao Ren, who does not believe in the supernatural, is determined to find out the rational truth behind the case. However, as the murder investigation deepens, more and more shocking and bizarre details begin to surface…
